Nebraska Education Commissioner Roger Breed on March 2 participated in Read Across America, a one-day celebration of reading literacy in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Breed read to Saratoga Elementary School third graders in Lincoln. State Board of Education member Patricia Timm of Beatrice and Denise Fisher of the Nebraska Department of Education read to Lincoln students at Saratoga Elementary School and McPhee Elementary School, respectively.
