Greetings! The applications for base grants and base and matching grants can be found at

Those forms and an updated district HAL plan, are due on September 1, 2007. Please use the estimated amount of money listed on the form to determine your level of funding. The grant money will then be adjusted once the level of funding is determined.
NDE has also been notified that funds have been made available for the AP Test Fee Reduction Grant for the students in need who will take the AP examinations this spring. You may access those forms at the HAL website contained in this e-mail.
As you may remember, the HAL plan for the district must be submitted with the grant application. Many of you have been refining the HAL plan in light of current research and best practice. If you have already completed your plan and want to submit the plan before the other forms, please feel free to do so. When submitting your HAL plan, please put the county and the district number on the plan so that NDE can credit your respective district.
