Diversity & Ethnic
Studies:Virtual Community
This Virtual Community began as a simple, personal list of
diversity-related Internet resources. For those of us far from home,
it is a means of keeping in touch with our communities. It is also a
good place to begin learning about others, different than us.

Planet
Youth
"Planet Youth" provides information on Boys and Girls Clubs,
sports, fitness, culture, community and the environment. Planet Youth
also provides access to links to the Native American culture, history,
education and arts and sciences.

One
Day In Peace, January1. 2000

working in their own homes and schools.

Coming

the 20th century draws to a close, immigration levels are higher than
they've been since the century began. Nearly 1.2 million immigrants are
arriving in the USA every year, about 900,000 legally and an estimated
275,000 illegally. Explore more USA Today infomation on the topic of

States, and has expanded to include constituents from other areas engaged
in exploring civil society and new patterns of citizenship.
